With over seven years of experience working in the field, I recognize the power of video to tell a story. To flood a viewer with emotions. To influence an audience to action. I am passionate about working with clients to tell those stories and to get messages out to the world.

I served as the production lead on this video, created for Children's Hospital Colorado. It was primarily shot on a Canon 6D, with contributions of home footage. After mapping content with our strategy team, I used editorial discretion to cut this using Adobe Premiere Pro.

This was very much so created with inspiration from the brilliant, life-saving doctors and the kind, loving patient and family.  

This video has over 4,500 views, with a retention rate of over 40%.

Dr. Alberto Peña, MD, Colorectal Surgeon

Director of Photography, Cinematographer and Editor.
I served as the production lead on this video, created for Children's Hospital Colorado. I shot all footage on a Canon 6D, then worked with a video producer to select the proper sound bites to tell Dr. Peña's story. I edited this in Adobe Premiere Pro. 

Dr. Peña is a world-renowned surgeon who has pioneered the field of colorectal surgery. He conducts his surgeries like a symphony, bringing grace and beauty to a profession that could be seen as graphic. My goal was to display the finesse of his craft and share the authenticity of his care philosophy. 

This video has a global audience: it has over 8,000 views on YouTube and has been used in international conferences to introduce Dr. Peña.

Children's Hospital Colorado

Animator. 
I worked with our team of designers at Children's Hospital Colorado to help determine the look and feel and storyboard for this video. Once a graphic designer illustrated it, I animated all graphics to create this video. Animations were completed in Adobe After Effects. 

Mental health can be a taboo topic. But why? Our team at the Pediatric Mental Health Institute wanted a way to break the stigma and promote talking about mental health. This video is the result. 

This has been used at internal and external meetings, promoted on our social channels and shared by our partners in the mental health field. It has over 138,500 views with a retention rate of >60%. Over 54% of the traffic is coming from YouTube's search and recommendations. 


Shia Skin Care

Editor.

I worked on this project for Costello Productions, editing the interviews and footage to tell Natashia's story of why she started her company, Shia Skin Care. I worked closely with the Producer/Creative Director to ensure the client would be happy with her brand video. 

I edited this in Adobe Premiere Pro. Footage was shot on a RED, so I worked with high-resolution/RAW post-production workflows, including proxy files and color grading.
